The Lost Garden by Helen Humphreys

Helen Humphreys should be better known than she is. I love this book so much that I read it every year and I’ve also gifted it to several people. It’s set in WWII and is an awkward love story, but it’s about so much more: human relationships, vulnerability,Land Girls and rare roses. Has some super-realism too.
