Lo-Fi but so effective

Don't worry: I'm a sucker for expensive lip balms and lipsticks. But this baby goes on smoothly and leaves just the right amount of tint for this pale brunette. I've tried a few sahdes but this is the best one.

I was on my way to something and realized I'd forgotten to put my trusty Fresh brand "Sugar" lip balm in my bag. The horror of being out with dry, un-tinted lips horrified me so I ducked into a drug store and grabbed this and couldn't be happier with an impulse beauty buy.
CAVEAT: It is not a long-lasting formula, so have it in your pocket or bag within easy reach to re-slick.
